These filters are made for non FDA applications and rated up to 250 F° when made with tin plated steel core or Stainless Steel cores.

We are proud to be the first string wound distributor to introduce a filter made from a reliable recycled products and help keep our environment a safer place.

Recycling Facts:

•10 plastic bottles = 1 pound of polyester yarn fiber.

•1 ton (2000 lbs) of plastic bottles recycled saves 3.8 barrels of oil.

•1 million plastic bottles recycled saves 250 barrels of oil.

•1 million plastic bottles recycled eliminates 180 metric tons of CO2 emissions from being released into the atmosphere.

•10% of all US oil consumed (2 million barrels per day) is used to make plastics.

•Recycling plastic bottles takes 8 times less energy than to produce an equivalent amount of new ones.

Below you can see recycled polyester during each major step, starting with recycled materials such as bottles (above), which is crushed, then split into fibers, and then woven into yarn, which is then used to create Continuous Stringwound Filter Cartridges.

The final products are light green nominal rated filters ranging from 0.5 to 200 Microns and various lengths. There are different cores available as well. If you are setting up your filtration for the first time or if you are looking to replace your current cartridges, these cost effective cartridges deserve a chance.
